Millbillillie Eucrite Meteorite

This specimen weighs 308 grams.  It measures 64 mm by 63 mm by 58 mm.  All measurements taken at widest points.

This beautiful specimen has virtually NO orange dirt stain on it like most Millbillillies.

  

 

 
  • Millbillillie, Wiluna district, Western Australia
  • Fell October, 1960
  • Stone - Achondrite, Eucrite (EUC)

A fireball was seen in October of 1960 and pieces were assumed to have fallen, but no search was initiated until 1970.  The total weight eventually recovered is at least 25kg.
