Marjalahti - 53 gram complete slice

  
A very rare pallasite, one of only three "witnessed fall" pallasite falls, and the only one ever offered to collectors.   Marjalahti fell June 1, 1902 in Karelia, Viipuri, Russia.  Total known weight is approx. 45 kg.  The vast majority residing in museum and university collections.  This slice came from a trade with the Helsinki Geol. Mus. University where the main mass resides.
