Sikhote-alin Coin

Shiny "nickel" coin/medal with a photo insert of the Sikhote-alin fireball on the front and the Sikhote-alin strewnfield area map on the back.  Each coin measures two inches in diameter, 4.5 mm thick. 

Attached in a recessed crater on the front of the coin is an authentic specimen of the Sikhote-alin meteorite. 

The back of the coin has the fall date in English arched over the top and in Russian arched on the bottom.  It is sequentially numbered.

Production run was limited to 1000 coins. - $40-  Shipping in the US is free- and International is $10-

 

Chelyabinsk Russia Coin

Zinc Alloy Based Nortwest Africa coin.  Each coin measures two inches in diameter, 4.5 mm thick and was produced in an antique gold finish. 

Attached in a recessed crater on the front of the coin is an authentic specimen of the Northwest Africa 869 stone chondrite meteorite. 

The back of the coin gives basic information on the fall and is sequentially numbered.
